For extremely fast comminution (speed: up to 1100 rpm, 1300 rpm at optimal speed) of hard-brittle, medium-hard laboratory samples, dry or in suspension, down to analysis fineness.
Mining, metallurgy, ceramics industry, agriculture and environmental, infrared and x-ray fluorescence analysis
The Vibrating Cup Mill operates according to the vibrating mill principle. The grinding set mounted on a spring supported system is caused to oscillate horizontally by a rotating flyweight. The whirling movement accelerates the grinding media (rings and core) situated in the grinding set via centrifugal force. The grinding material is comminuted through impact and friction forces.
The PULVERISETTE 9 is the world's only Vibrating Cup Mill with frequency transformer control. This allows the oscillating frequency to be optimally adapted to the load (grinding set and grinding material), performing the grinding in the shortest possible time.
The standard equipment delivered with the Vibrating Cup Mill PULVERISETTE 9 does not include grinding sets. Grinding sets are offered in 5 different materials and different sizes and must be ordered as accessories:
