The grinding material is comminuted by pressure and shearing loads between two counteracting grinding disks with coarse interlocking teeth. The gap between the two grinding disks can be adjusted externally - even during operation - and determines the fineness of the end product. Pre- and fine crushing is also possible in one step, because the Disk Mill PULVERISETTE 13 can be combined with the Jaw Crusher PULVERISETTE 1.
